I got this photo and email from TTC’s Dan Brown this morning:
Griff, here’s a photo of a section up by Lampkin Falls, freshly taped, and with helper Sam Stutz in the middle. The sections are being finalized now and we’re in the final stages of preparation for the Wagner Cup!
12 of the 15 sections will be very close by the paddock, but 3 are up atop the mountain for the hardy hikers.
I’ll be arriving at the TTC late Wed. night this week for this weekend’s Trials Training Days 2008, and staying thru next Tues. morning. So I’ll be posting many more Wagner Cup 2008 section preview photos Real Soon Now.

In the April 2008 issue of AMA’s American Motorcyclist magazine, there’s a blurb in the Competition section on page 70 about the Wagner Cup:
WORLD’S BEST BALANCING ACT; World Trials Lands Here
The World Trials U.S. Grand Prix is coming to town. And if you have any appreciation at all for man’s ability to defy gravity on two wheels, you won’t want to miss it. Competitors in the FIM World Trials Championships are the best you’ll see anywhere, and this is your only chance to see this world-class talent on U.S. soil in ’08. The 2008 USGP World Trials Competition goes down April 26-27 at the Trials Training Center in Sequatchie, Tennessee. For more information, call (423) 942-8688 or see www.trialstrainingcenter.com.
